Year 6 is a vital year group in all primary pupils life as pupils prepare for their future life and become secondary ready. The children work extremely hard to realise their full potential, aided by Mr Perks (Class Teacher) and Mrs Hanson.

Enrichment Opportunities:
This term we will have a Science Workshop (26/04/2021) as well as the working with our artist in residence. At lunchtime, there will be a weekly cricket club.
We will also be welcome to attend a multi-games after school club with Mr Scott, a Tag Rugby after school club with a specialist coach, art club and booster sessions.
Some children will have weekly music lessons with an experienced music teacher who will continue to teach pupils how to play the ukulele.
Later this year, we will be providing our pupils with the opportunity to visit the Isle of Wight with our UKSA Sailing Residential as they missed this opportunity in Year 5 due to COVID-19.
Key Dates:
Pupils must come to school wearing their PE kits on a Thursday; we will hold our PE lessons on this day.
Homework is set on Friday and is due back every Tuesday.
Whole class booster sessions will continue on a Monday and Wednesday until 4:15pm.
